Service Description

SENSORY-MOTOR GROUP Led by Kelly McDonald โ€” M.S. in Occupational Therapy | 20 Years of Experience Our Sensory Motor Group is designed to support school-aged children in developing the self-regulation, motor, and emotional tools they need to succeed in daily routinesโ€”at home, in school, and with peers. Led by a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, this small group focuses on: ๐ŸŒŸ Sensory processing and body awareness ๐ŸŒŸ Emotional regulation and coping strategies ๐ŸŒŸ Fine motor and coordination skills ๐ŸŒŸ Attention, task completion, and transitions ๐ŸŒŸ Social connection and flexible thinking ๐ŸŒŸ Building confidence through movement and play Each session includes structured activities, sensory-motor games, mindfulness tools, and social opportunities to help kids understand their bodies, manage big feelings, and connect with others in positive ways. Perfect for children who need support with sensory processing, emotional regulation, or executive functioningโ€”in a supportive and fun environment that meets them where they are. โ˜… This class meets once a week for 4 consecutive weeks. ๐Ÿ‘‰ First-time families may try one introductory class for $25. If you and your child find it to be a good fit, we encourage you to register for additional classes. These sessions build on each other to offer maximum benefit through consistent participation.



Cancellation Policy

Payment of Services Open Play: Payment is due in full either at the time of service for drop-in clients or in advance through our online booking system for memberships or play packs. Specialty Small Groups, Therapy Sessions, Pop-Up Classes & Events: Registration and payment must be completed online or in person. Payment in full is required at the time of registration to secure enrollment. Late Payments Invoices not paid within 7 days will incur a $10 late fee and a second payment request. If payment remains unpaid after 14 days, scheduled sessions will be forfeited and no refunds or credits will be issued. Fundamentals, LLC reserves the right to refer unpaid balances to a licensed debt collection agency in accordance with Rhode Island law. Insufficient Funds A $25 fee will be charged for any declined or returned payments. Late Pick-Up Fees If a child is picked up past their scheduled time, a $5 immediate fee per child will be charged, plus $10 for every additional 15 minutes. If payment is not made at pickup, a payment request will be sent. Repeated late pickups may result in cancellation of enrollment without refund. Attendance, Cancellations & No-Shows At least 2 hoursโ€™ notice is required for cancellations or absences. Late cancellations (less than 2 hoursโ€™ notice) and no-shows are charged in full. After three (3) cancellations, a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled session cost may be applied to each additional cancellation, regardless of notice. Repeated cancellations may also result in enrollment adjustments at the discretion of Fundamentals, LLC. Absences and Illness No refunds, credits, or exchanges are provided for absences due to illness or personal scheduling conflicts. If your child is unwell, please keep them home. If a child becomes ill during a session, families will be contacted for immediate pickup. Cancellations by Fundamentals If a session is canceled by Fundamentals, LLC due to unexpected circumstances, families will receive either a full refund or the option to reschedule. Refund Policy All sales are final. Refunds are only issued if a session is canceled by Fundamentals, LLC. Acknowledgement By registering for services, families acknowledge and agree to this Payment & Crediting Policy.
