Service Description

OT Group: Regulation, Social-Emotional & Motor Skills Led by Kelly McDonald, M.S., OTR/L | Pediatric Occupational Therapist | 20+ Years of Experience Our OT Group helps children build the foundational skills they need to succeed at home, at school, and in everyday lifeβ€”all through purposeful, play-based activities. Led by a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, this small-group program supports children in developing: 🌟 Self-regulation and emotional regulation 🌟 Social-emotional skills and peer interactions 🌟 Fine motor skills (grasp, cutting, pre-writing, and hand strength) 🌟 Gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and core strength 🌟 Executive functioning, including attention, flexibility, and following directions 🌟 Sensory processing and body awareness Each session combines movement, sensory-rich experiences, games, crafts, and cooperative activities that help children build confidence while strengthening the skills they use every day. Activities are thoughtfully adapted to meet each child's individual needs within a fun, supportive small-group setting. This group is ideal for children who: - Experience big emotions or have difficulty with self-regulation - Benefit from support with sensory processing - Need extra help with motor development - Struggle with attention, transitions, or flexibility - Would benefit from practicing skills in a supportive peer environment Small groups allow individualized support while providing meaningful opportunities for children to learn alongside their peers. β˜… Classes are offered weekly on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays New to FUNdamentals? Try your first OT Group for just $25! If it's a great fit, you can continue with additional sessions.
